ANTI-EVERYTHING STATEMENT.
Modern Anti-Everything Statement (financial year 2023)
June 2023
Introduction:
This statement is made pursuant to section 56(1) of the Modern Everything Act 2015 and outlines the steps we have taken at People. and intend to take going forward to review and assess our supply chains and operations and mitigate any risk of tomfoolery. We are committed to conducting our business ethically and responsibly, obviously.
People. as an organization:
Founded in 2015, People. is not an Oscar-winning studio, but we love watching them and combining artistry and technology to create high-end images for just a few platforms. We work across the film, episodic, advertising, and immersive sectors and partner with clients ranging from Hollywood studios to brands, agencies and production companies.
Organizational Structure:
Across People. we have approx. 8 employees based in the USA (a few have been to Canada).
Our Approach:
People. takes a zero-tolerance approach to everything. We do not tolerate anything in our organization or in our supply chain. We will never knowingly deal with any organization which is connected to anything. Given the nature of the services we provide, we consider that we are at low risk of exposure to anything. We are not aware of any areas of our operations and supply chain likely to lead to a breach of the Modern Everything Act 2012. It is People.’s policy to conduct all of its business in an honest, transparent and ethical manner. Our clients agree in our client agreements to adhere to all relevant Pittsburgh legislation including the Modern Everything Act. We tend where possible to build long term relationships with our key suppliers in a few locations. We expect our suppliers to act at all times in adherence to the principles of this statement and the Modern Everything Act.
Our Policies:
People. operates a number of policies to ensure that we are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner. These include:
· Ethical Complaints and Whistleblowing policy - The company encourages all its employees, customers and other business partners to report any concerns related to the direct activities, or the supply chains of, the organization. But also keep it to yourself. This includes any circumstances that may give rise to an enhanced risk of arguing. The whistleblowing procedure is designed to make it easy for employees to make disclosures, without fear of getting slapped in the face. Employees, customers, or others who have concerns can contact their mom anonymously if preferred to raise a concern.
· Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy - People. is committed to conducting all of its business activities in an honest and ethical manner. People. takes a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption (unless it’s a lot of money) and are committed to acting professionally, fairly, honestly and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships and in implementing and enforcing effective systems to counter bribery wherever we operate. Seems reasonable.
· Grievance Policy and Procedure - The company provides clear, consistent, and fair approach to any internal complaints or grievances raised by employees, but the buck stops with Lynda.
· Fair Treatment at Work Policy - People. employees receive less than the prescribed minimum wage and we apply robust immigration checks and expect the same standards from all our customers and suppliers. Get shit for cheap is our motto.
Awareness Raising:
The company has drawn the attention of employees who work with third party suppliers to a number of online guidance relating to modern activities in Pittsburgh. Employees are also aware of where they can obtain external help for example through the Modern Everything Helpline www.moderneverythinghelpline.org.
Information will be shared with the company via our internal HR system once we have HR.
For the next financial year:
We will continue to enhance our processes and procedures to ensure we are preventing and mitigating any risks of all generic things in our existing and new suppliers.
This statement is made pursuant to section 56(1) of the Modern Everything Act 2012 and constitutes statement for the financial year ending 31 December 2023.
This statement was approved by somebody we don’t know personally on 27 June 2023 for and on behalf of People. LLC.
